ABOUT ME

Yoga entered my life quietly, early on. My mum introduced me to the practice when I was a child, long before I had language for what it was offering me. Over the years, yoga became a companion - not something I did, but something I returned to. At times when life felt overwhelming, confusing, or painfully narrow, yoga gave me a way to breathe, to listen, and to stay.

I don’t believe yoga is about fixing ourselves. I believe it’s about learning how to be with what’s here - with curiosity, compassion, and honesty. My own practice has carried me through periods of stress, change, injury, motherhood, and deep questioning. There were moments when yoga quite literally helped me survive by teaching me how to soften rather than push, how to stay rather than escape. That lived experience is the ground from which I teach.

My teaching is rooted in traditional yoga philosophy, gentle and mindful movement, breath awareness, and nervous-system support. I’m not interested in forcing bodies into shapes or chasing peak poses. Instead, I offer practices that are accessible, trauma-aware, and deeply respectful of each person’s inner landscape. I weave philosophy into classes in a way that feels human and relevant. Something you can carry into your everyday life, not leave behind on the mat.

I teach yoga as a practice of relationship: with the body, with the breath, with the present moment. My classes invite you to slow down, notice, and reconnect - whether you’re brand new to yoga, returning after time away, or looking for something quieter and more meaningful than a workout-style class.

I live in Wellingborough with my husband, our two children, and our little dog. Outside of teaching, my days are shaped by family life, long walks, books piled beside my bed, and the quiet, unseen work of planning classes that feel thoughtful and well-held. Yoga isn’t separate from my life - it’s woven through it, steady and enduring, just like the practice itself.
