What to expect

As the warmth of summer ripens into fullness, August invites us to pause and gather in gratitude for the abundance all around us. This late-summer retreat offers a gentle, nourishing space to honour the turning of the seasons while reconnecting with your own sense of balance and well-being. Through a carefully held blend of mindful movement, restorative yoga, meditation, and soulful reflection, you’ll be guided to soften tension, calm your nervous system, and open to the richness of this moment in your life. Rooted in the energy of the harvest season, our practices will celebrate nature’s generosity while inviting you to cultivate gratitude, presence, and ease within yourself. Here is what you can expect: Opening Circle A gentle arrival, time to settle, and space to set your intention for the day. Hatha Yoga A mindful practice to awaken energy and connect with your body. Mindfulness in Nature A quiet walk outdoors (or a grounding indoor practice if the weather calls us inside). Nourishing Lunch Time to pause, share food, and enjoy rest and conversation. Yoga Nidra A guided journey into deep relaxation for body and mind. Guided Journaling Reflective prompts to explore the day’s theme and your inner landscape. Restorative Yoga Gentle postures to support release, ease, and integration. Closing Circle Gathering together to share insights, gratitude, and reflections before returning home. I truly value the connection that comes with smaller groups, which is why spaces for this special and intimate gathering are limited to just 8 participants. Be sure to book early to secure your spot! No pressure, no expectations—just a gentle, supportive space to honour your journey and reconnect with yourself, guided by my nurturing presence and support. 🗓️ When: Sunday 23rd August 2026 10-4pm 📍 Where: The Granary, nr. Located just 40 minutes from Kettering, it’s the ideal escape—far enough to feel like a refreshing getaway, yet close enough to make the journey effortless and enjoyable. I am taking £20 deposits at this stage, with the remaining balance due 8 weeks before the retreat.
