What to expect

These sessions offer a quiet, supportive space for your nervous system to settle and your body to return to its own rhythm. Reiki is a hands-on (or hands-near) energy practice that works subtly, meeting you where you are. It does not force change or “fix” anything. Instead, it supports the conditions for balance, allowing your system to soften, unwind, and reorganise in its own time. My approach is shaped by Reiki, meditation and yoga. That means we are not just working with energy, but with awareness, breath, and the felt sense of the body. You may notice shifts in how you are holding tension, how you are breathing, or how you are relating to what is present. Sessions are slow and spacious. There is no expectation to talk, perform, or process anything. This is a place for deep rest. You might come if you are feeling: - overwhelmed or burnt out - stuck in patterns of stress or tension - disconnected from your body - in need of quiet support during a challenging time Or simply because you want to lie down, be held in a safe space, and allow yourself to receive. Each session includes time to arrive, the Reiki practice itself, and a gentle closing so you can leave feeling steady and grounded. As part of my training, until the end of June 2026, I am offering Reiki sessions free of charge to friends and those who practise with me. If you feel drawn to experience this, you are very welcome to get in touch and we can find a time that suits you. Sessions are held at my home in Wellingborough, in a quiet, cosy garden room.
