Tuesday Evening Gentle Hatha Yoga
Tuesday Evening Gentle Hatha Yoga
Ease into your Tuesday evening with gentle yoga and mindful movement, creating space to breathe
What to expect
Give yourself an hour to step away from the demands of the day. This gentle evening class offers time to move, breathe and reconnect with yourself, with guided meditation and relaxation to bring the practice to a close. Isham Village Hall Tuesday evenings: 7.30pm - 8.30pm What to expect: We explore traditional Hatha yoga alongside gentle somatic movement, paying attention to how each movement feels rather than how it looks. Breathwork and moments of stillness give you opportunities to slow down and notice what you need that evening. I offer clear instructions and different options throughout. You can adjust a movement, take a break or rest whenever you need to. There is no expectation to keep up with anyone else. Yoga philosophy runs through my teaching, with simple reflections on subjects such as patience, balance and kindness towards ourselves. These ideas can be just as useful in everyday life as they are on the mat. The session ends with guided meditation and relaxation, giving you time to settle before heading home. Is this class for me? This class welcomes beginners, people returning to yoga and experienced students who enjoy a slower, more attentive practice. You don’t need to be flexible or familiar with yoga terminology. I’ll guide you as we go. If you have particular needs or feel uncertain about joining, please contact me before booking. We can discuss the class and explore whether it feels like a suitable fit. Your teacher: I’m Vicki, and yoga has been part of my life for over 40 years. I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2023, and teaching yoga is my full-time vocation. My personal practice and the philosophy of yoga shape the care and attention I bring to each session. I encourage curiosity, respect for your own limits and the freedom to practise in a way that works for you. What to bring: Please bring a yoga mat, a blanket and some water. Choose comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily, and bring a warm layer for the quieter part of the class. Finding us: Isham Village Hall is beside the church on Church Street, around ten minutes from Kettering. Free on-street parking is available nearby. Allow a little time to park and get comfortable before we begin. Make Tuesday evening a regular pause in your week.
