What to expect
Valentine’s Day so often turns our attention outward. This workshop gently turns it back in. Valentine’s Yoga for Self-Compassion & Ahimsa is an invitation to practise love as kindness rather than effort - love that does not push, judge, or demand improvement. Rooted in the yogic principle of ahimsa (non-violence), through slow, attentive movement, breathwork, gentle flow, supported rest, and guided meditation, we’ll explore self-compassion as something lived in the body, not just understood in the mind. This is not about striving for openness or “doing self-love well” but about listening, softening, and allowing yourself to be met where you are. What to expect - Gentle, accessible yoga suitable for all bodies and levels - Slow, mindful movement with plenty of choice and pause - Restorative and yin-style postures supported with props - A guided meditation focused on self-compassion - A calm, spacious atmosphere — no pressure, no performance This workshop is for you if: - You feel tired of pushing yourself - You want a quieter, more meaningful way to mark Valentine’s Day - You’re curious about yoga philosophy made practical and embodied - You’d like to practise kindness towards yourself, just as you are No prior yoga experience is needed. You are warmly encouraged to move gently, rest often, and make this practice your own. Cancellation Policy
Pre-Booking Required - All classes must be pre-booked as spaces are limited. If you have bought a class pass, you still need to book individual classes, as during busy periods, we may not have space for drop-ins; I will sadly have to turn you away if the class is at capacity :( - Maximum capacities: - **The Pod**: 12 participants - **The Midwives Circle**: 9 participants Cancellations & Refunds - Cancellations must be made at least **4 hours** before the class start time to receive a refund or transfer. - Unfortunately, cancellations made after this period are non-refundable, as classes often have waiting lists.
