My 6-week Introduction to Yoga Beginners Course is a thorough initiation into the foundations of Hatha Yoga – the cornerstone of many Western yoga styles. Crafted especially for those new to yoga, this gradual course will gently acquaint you with fundamental yoga postures (asana), breathing techniques (pranayama), mindfulness practices, and soothing relaxation exercises. Discover how simple yoga techniques can seamlessly weave into your daily routine as you build experience and confidence. Open to ALL ages and abilities, this 6-week course is ideal for complete yoga beginners or those with less than a year of yoga practice. Here's the lowdown on what you can expect: - A super friendly and welcoming atmosphere. - Instructions that are crystal clear and easy to follow. - Loads of options and tweaks, so it doesn't matter if you're not as flexible as a rubber band. - Moves that'll boost your strength, flexibility, bone health and overall fitness game. - Cool breathing exercises to kick stress and anxiety to the curb, bringing in calmness and peace. - Relaxing guided relaxation sessions and meditations to help you unwind. - Fun insights into yoga philosophy and the wonders of the natural world. - A voucher for a free class once you complete your 6-week course. - Weekly emails and insights from me to deepen your understanding of the subject matter. What to bring - Feel free to bring your yoga mat if you have one....but... - Don't worry if you don't have a mat—I can lend you one. - Bring a blanket if you have one for relaxation, if not you can borrow one of mine! - Don't forget to bring a drink. - Wear comfy clothes that let you move without any fuss. Pre-Booking Required - This course must be pre-booked as spaces are limited. - Maximum capacities: - **The Pod**: 12 participants - **The Midwives Circle**: 9 participants Cancellations & Refunds - All bookings and sales of courses are final. - If I have a waiting list, and I can resell your space, I will offer you a full refund. However, this is a gesture of goodwill and not an obligation. - The full course fee must be paid even if you are unable to attend every session.
